About the role

You'll be hands-on across our warehouse and produce operations — picking, packing, and quality-checking fresh produce, as well as receiving stock, preparing orders for dispatch, and supporting supplier pickups and deliveries. This role suits someone who's reliable, physically capable, and happy juggling a mix of tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, and quality-check fresh produce orders

• Receive, check, and store incoming stock

• Prepare and stage orders for dispatch

• Support loading/unloading of deliveries and supplier pickups

• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe

• Work closely with the team to meet daily deadlines

About you

• Reliable and punctual — early morning starts are part of the role (2am start)

• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work

• Good attention to detail, especially around produce quality

• Able to work efficiently as part of a small team

• Forklift licence highly regarded (or willingness to obtain one)

• Previous warehouse, produce, or logistics experience is a plus but not essential

Pershouse Produce is a Brisbane-based fresh produce wholesaler operating out of the Brisbane Markets in Rocklea. Supplies fresh produce to national supermarkets, independent retailers, country order customers, providers, and the export market, working closely with a network of growers across major Australian growing regions to supply both commodity and specialty produce lines.
