Vacuum Excavation Operator – Jetting Experience

All Pumped Up Excavations & Rentals is looking for an experienced and reliable operator to join our growing team.

This role is suited to someone with hands-on experience operating vacuum excavation equipment and completing high-pressure water jetting works. You must be safety-focused, confident around plant and equipment, and willing to work across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum excavation trucks and associated equipment.
• Complete high-pressure water jetting and drain-cleaning works.
• Safely expose underground services using non-destructive digging methods.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report equipment defects.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Complete required site documentation, including pre-starts, risk assessments and job records.
• Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors and other team members.
• Assist with general site duties when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous vacuum excavation and high-pressure jetting experience.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and related equipment.
• A current HR truck licence.
• A current Construction White Card.
• A strong understanding of safe work practices.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• A reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• The ability to complete physical and outdoor work.
• Flexibility to work additional hours or travel when required.

Relevant high-pressure water jetting qualifications, confined-space training, working-at-heights training and other plant tickets will be highly regarded.
