Youthrive Victoria is a highly respected not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people from rural Victoria through scholarships, leadership programs, mentoring and community connections.

Since 2008, we have supported thousands of young people to pursue further education and develop the skills, confidence and networks needed to strengthen their communities.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to build on our strong foundation and lead the next exciting phase of growth and impact.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Board Chair, the CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring Youthrive Victoria continues to expand its reach, strengthen its partnerships, secure long term sustainable funding and deliver high-quality programs for rural young people.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and making a lasting difference across rural Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Youthrive Victoria's strategic vision.

• Build, maintain and further develop strong relationships with donors, philanthropic trusts, government, schools and community partners.

• Drive fundraising, grant acquisition and financial sustainability.

• Lead and develop a committed team of staff, volunteers and alumni.

• Ensure strong governance, compliance and organisational performance.

• Champion innovation, impact measurement and continuous improvement.

• Represent Youthrive Victoria across the sector, media and stakeholder events.

About You

You are an inspiring and collaborative leader who brings:

• Senior leadership experience in the not-for-profit or purpose-driven sector.

• A demonstrated ability to develop strategy and lead organisational growth.

• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

• Success in fundraising, philanthropy and/or business development.

• High level financial and governance capability.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

• A genuine commitment to improving opportunities for young people in rural communities.
