Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant position is available on a full-time basis.

We are a growing chartered accounting firm in the Sydney CBD with a diverse range of clients, mainly small businesses, start-ups and non-profits.

As a senior you will be joining a growing firm servicing a client base, increasing referral business and new and emerging industries. We are located on Pitt Street near Martin Place and provides business consultancy, taxation, and accounting services.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Quarterly BAS and IAS Preparation 

• Ledger maintenance reconciliations 

• Assisting senior staff and partners

• General tax and accounting tasks

• ASIC agent duties

• Manage staff and workflow

• Other adhoc administration duties where required

Requirements & attributes:

• Willingness to learn with a continuous improvement mindset

• Solid work ethic 

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Working towards a tertiary qualification in Accounting or comparable degree

• Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills (soft skills)

• Confident computer literacy
