What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our shutdown team, your responsibilities will include:

•       Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.

      Follow and enforce safety rules and procedures including wearing the protective PPE required for performing the works safely.

•          Conduct machine pre starts and checks on the equipment and scaffolding gears to ensure they are safe to use.

•     Assess the type of scaffold required and plan the layout according to work requirements.

•   Erect, dismantle and modify scaffolds according to applicable standards and rules.

• ·         Ensure scaffolding platforms are stable, safe and secure.

•     Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on scaffolds and update scaffolding tags and register.

•    Maintain good housekeeping in the scaffold materials storage yard.

•    Perform alternative tasks other than scaffolding works as directed by the responsible supervisor and Stand in Supervisor.

 
What You Bring

• A strong commitment to safety

• Minimum 2 years of continuous Scaffolding experience (mining or similar industry)

• Scaffolding High-Risk License (SI or SA) – Intermediate or Advanced

• White Card

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

• Unrestricted Australian work rights

• Working at Heights Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):

• Confined Space Ticket - (must be valid within 2 years):
