Home Care Support Worker

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.


About You

• Live and can support our customers in Mackay and surrounding areas
• Hold an Australian Driver's Licence and own comprehensively insured car (no international licence/shared vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day within the hours of 7am - 6pm, ideally across 3-4 weekdays (some weekend rosters available for experienced Carers)
• Able to complete our paid 2-week training program
• Passionate about working in in-home care, with a focus on aged care

What We Offer

• Open to entry-level and experienced carers
• $34.80 - $36.59 p/h + super
• Paid travel time + $1.33 p/km allowance + company phone
• Contract:
• New Entrants: Casual contract
• Experienced Carers (12+ months experience and/or relevant qualification): 20 - 50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts

Your Role
As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role - this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.

• Entry-level: Cleaning, laundry, meal prep and household support
• Experienced: Personal care (showering, toileting, medications), social support and domestic duties
• Most importantly provide companionship and brighten someone's day
