Electrical Project Engineer

Provide electrical engineering support for construct-only projects, including design coordination, procurement support, construction oversight, testing, commissioning, and site support as required.Electrical & Instrumentation industry experience desired Canning Vale office with site travel to the Pilbara

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer with hands‑on experience in industrial electrical installation to join our team delivering bulk fuel/lubrication facilities and installation projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering, site problem‑solving, and working within a subcontractor environment.

This is a Perth‑based role, with travel to site in the Pilbara as required. Join a project where your technical expertise and practical approach will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

Complete take-offs, build BOM’s and procure materials for the projectProvide electrical engineering support during installation, testing, and commissioningReview electrical drawings, produce redlines, verify installation quality, and support ITP developmentResolve electrical design and construction issues in the fieldDevelop material take offs and manage and expedite the procurement of electrical packages, equipment, and materialsSupport integration with MCCs, control systems, and plant servicesContribute to planning, scheduling, and progress reporting

About You

Tertiary qualifications Engineering, Construction Management or similar equivalentStrong electrical engineering background in industrial or process‑type installationsMinimum 3 years site or project experience in the mining or defence industries supporting installation crewsCompetent with cable schedules, LV systems, instrumentation, and controlsExperience delivering works end‑to‑end within a subcontractor team environmentExcellent communication and technical problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a project team
