Electrician

Mainpower Electrics - a successful, well-established electrical contractor - has an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to join our dynamic team working on major residential projects across Sydney.

What You'll Do:

• Review project plans and specifications to ensure complete project understanding
• Coordinate daily activities with builders and site foremen while maintaining strong working relationships
• Act as the communication bridge between builders and Mainpower management
• Manage labour scheduling and materials forecasting for major project milestones
• Lead and coordinate staff and subcontractors, ensuring proper inductions and training
• Enforce company WHS policies to maintain safe working conditions
• Maintain tools and equipment to company standards
• Conduct routine quality assurance site inspections

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience:
• Proven track record leading electrical teams
• Experience with large and small multi-residential projects
• Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities
• Outstanding time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Reliable and punctual work ethic

Qualifications Required:
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Construction induction safety white card
• Must be an Australian citizen to apply

Advantageous (but not essential):
• Electrical contractor/supervisor licence
• Lighting control experience (Dynalite/C-BUS)
