Senior / Project Manager – Client Side – Student Accommodation

Candidates can come from Head Contractor or Client/Consultancy Side but ideally will have some client/consultancy side experience.
Our client is a leading boutique project management consultancy with an established pipeline across tertiary education/student accommodation projects from smaller up to $60m+. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join their successful team in Sydney.
The candidate can come from a head contractor, or a client side/consultancy background however ideally will have some client side/consultancy experience. Excellent progression opportunities available and interesting work load.
Ideally candidates will have experience on education/student accommodation projects however other sectors experience is also fine.
Years of experience:3 - 7 years +
Responsibilities include but not limited to:Scope developmentManaging regulatory approvalsDesign co-ordinationStakeholder management and liaisonHealth and safetyProgram managementContract administrationConstruction management of project deliveryManagement of site variations and design changesCost managementBusiness Development
Qualifications and Requirements:Degree qualification in Building, Construction Management, Project Management or similarA minimum of 3-7 + years’ experience in a client-side PM role, head contractor experience would also be idealProven end to end project management skills from concept through to completionContract Administration experienceExposure to program management, managing timelines and critical pathsExperience of end-to-end project management on a variety of building projects would be an advantageExperience of running multiple smaller projects or larger projects
