Assistant Store Manager

Flannerys Tewantin are seeking a retail-savvy and people-centric Assistant Store Manager to join our team in a permanent full-time (38-hours per week) capacity.

Roster? Great question. This role will commence on a Tuesday to Saturday roster which means you will always have a Sunday and Monday off.

Tell me about the role?

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end performance of the store - from both a operational and leadership standpoint. 

As a Manager, areas of accountability will include people & culture management, customer service, merchandising, inventory management, rostering, and administration. You will be a positive & results driven individual with proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate a team that you will be working with.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager + a passion for retail

• Strong leadership capability through coaching, developing and guiding a motivated team to ensure the store is kept to a high standard

• Exceptional customer service skills 

• Cash handling experience, including working with POS systems

• Ability to work as a part of a team and individually, across all store departments

• Positive and teachable attitude 

• Ability to manage inventory and merchandise in-store (some occasional heavy lifting may be required)

• The ability to work a flexible roster pattern 

• Someone with world-class enthusiasm and initiative (we can't teach that)
