Dog Daycare Attendant and Taxi Driver

Field Dayz Doggy Daycare is an outdoor dog daycare located on a 4-acre property, where dogs spend their days exploring, sniffing, digging, swimming and socialising in a safe and enriching environment.

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and passionate Casual Dog Daycare Attendant & Taxi Driver to join our growing team.

This is an active, hands-on role suited to someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and wants to make a genuine difference in dogs' lives.

This role combines dog daycare, transport and general property care. A typical day may include:

• Driving the Field Dayz Dog Taxi to safely collect and drop off dogs.

• Safely loading and unloading dogs of various sizes and temperaments.

• Supervising dogs during outdoor play and ensuring safe, positive interactions.

• Monitoring dog behaviour, body language and wellbeing throughout the day.

• Managing groups of dogs, including extra large and reactive dogs.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for dogs and staff.

• Cleaning vehicles, equipment and outdoor areas.

• Communicating professionally with clients during pick-up and drop-off.

This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and being physically active throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Energetic and physically fit.

• Reliable, punctual and committed.

• Confident working with dogs of all sizes, including extra large and reactive dogs, or willing to learn.

• Passionate about dog behaviour, welfare and providing the best possible care.

• A strong communicator who works well with both people and dogs.

• Able to take initiative and work independently when required.

• A positive team player who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the day.

Essential:

• Full Australian driver's licence.

• Confidence driving and handling dogs safely.

• Ability to work an active role involving walking, lifting, cleaning and outdoor work.

• A genuine interest in learning about dog behaviour and safe handling.

Experience in dog daycare, boarding kennels, animal care, training, rescue, veterinary environments or similar roles is highly regarded, but a willingness to learn and the right attitude are equally important.

• Casual position.

• 3–4 weekdays per week, approximately 8:00am–5:00pm.

• Additional weekend opportunities may be available.

• Competitive casual hourly rate.

• Located in Horsley, NSW.
