THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and engaging team member who is passionate about delivering a great experience to our client with every interaction.

DAY SHIFT:

• Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 2:00pm

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal applicant will be well presented, proactive and able to work well on their own and in a team. They will also be able to use their initiative in their daily routine to provide services that are of a high standard.

• To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis.

• Participate in the maintenance and cleaning of related premise areas, including:

  • Cleaning toilets;

  • Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings;

  • Cleaning floors, walls and partitions as appropriate;

  • Cleaning equipment after use;

  • Cleaning internal and external glasses;

  • Collecting and dispose of waste in appropriate manner;

  • Cleaning and maintaining waste bins;

  • Cleaning cobwebs

  • Vacuuming carpets

• Prepare and operate routine equipment/ resources/ materials as set out in instructions, and ensure cleanliness of equipment.

• Report any workplace incidents, near misses or hazards to the relevant Supervisor/ Portfolio Manager;

• Safe handling of chemicals

• Follow approved cleaning scope of works, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.

• Handle, mix, and apply approved cleaning chemicals safely and according to guidelines whilst wearing appropriate PPE.

• Properly dispose of waste and chemical containers, in compliance with facility policies and waste streams.

• Positive Team player

• The ability to identify improvement opportunities and present these to your manager/ supervisor.

• Comply with company policies, procedures and code of conduct.

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

• Experience with a walk-behind scrubber is preferred, but not essential as on the job training will be provided.

• Must have a current Australian driver's license

• Own transport

• Valid work rights in Australia

• Able to start immediately

• Willing to undertake a medical screening (company organised)

• Willing to consent to a National Police Check (company organised)

• Minimum of 1-year commercial cleaning experience with a keen eye for detail.
