Service Engineer/ Technician

About the role

This role involves ownership of operation and monitoring of Aquacell's custom designed and built decentralized water and waste water treatment plants in the Sydney and greater Sydney area. You will liaise with customers, suppliers and the Aquacell team. Be part of a high functioning, innovative and collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and remote monitoring of assigned Aquacell treatment plants

• Attend site to service assigned plants with the scope and frequency identified in the Service Agreement

• Ensure all plants being monitored are maintained in an optimal manner, including maintaining a safe operating environment

• Undertake plant optimisation

• Facilitate major repairs and installation of new plant or equipment

• Remote monitoring of plants through SCADA systems to identify, respond and correct alarm conditions

• Liaise with customers and suppliers to manage contract variations

• Identify and troubleshoot issues

• Data analysis and optimisation of plant performance

• A degree in engineering or a trade qualification

• Ability to manage collection and analysis of water samples for each site in line with the service agreement and regulatory requirements

• Capability to complete monthly reports and other reports as required

• Develop understanding of Aquacell plants to a level sufficient to operate without supervision

• Willingness to undertake domestic travel to sites outside of Sydney, including interstate travel from time to time

• Ability to assist the Project team with installation and commissioning of new plants
