FIFO Electricians, Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians

Due to growth ICE Engineering (part of the Tasmea Group) are seeking experienced Electricians and Electrical & Instrumentation Electricians with strong commissioning experience to join our growing team. This is a FIFO opportunity offering exposure to large-scale mining projects, technical challenges, and a supportive, high-performing team environment.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Site Superintendent, you will play a key role in supporting commissioning, pre-commissioning, and technical oversight. This position is responsible for field scoping, work pack preparation, documentation review, troubleshooting, and supporting site teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and system start-up activities

• Conduct field inspections, job scoping, and work pack preparation

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting both onsite and remotely

• Review drawings, documentation, and ensure compliance with site standards

• Oversee E&I activities including testing, verification, and hazardous area compliance

• Complete commissioning records, punch lists, and handover documentation

• Support site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

About you:

To be successful, you will have:

• SA Electrical Workers Licence (or willingness for mutual recognition)

• Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation

• National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain during recruitment process)

• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 12 months)

• White Card

• Working at Heights

• EWP

• Current Driver's Licence

• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
