Secondary Music Teacher

Torrens Valley Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Music Teacher (Years 7 – 12) to join our team and provide engaging, purposeful Music education in a distinctly Christian environment. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to grow in their musical knowledge, skills, creativity and confidence while encouraging them to recognise and use their God-given gifts. The ability to teach in one or two other subjects would be an advantage.

Music is a valued part of life at Torrens Valley Christian School, with a strong program of classroom Music, choirs, ensembles, instrumental lessons, worship bands, performances and biennial Secondary musicals. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to this vibrant musical community through performances, ensembles, worship and co-curricular activities.

If you’re passionate about Music, committed to Christian education and excited to nurture students academically, musically, personally and spiritually, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in areas such as piano accompaniment, ensemble direction, arranging and composition, contemporary and classical music, SACE Music or music technology would be highly valued.

Permanent | Full-time (1.0 FTE) | Commencing 20 January 2027

The successful applicant will be a committed Christian actively involved in a Christian church.
