About You

You've got experience in the taxation and business services field but looking for the next challenge. You enjoy working closely with team members to produce quality results in an effective and timely manner. You may not have supervisor or managerial experience in the past but are ready to impart your knowledge and experience with your colleagues. 

The Role

There's 3 main components to this role;

• Managing other accounting staff members

• Completing works for and liaising with clients; and

• Working with the owners of the firm on a range of services

Tasks & responsibilities

• Management & on job training of accounting team, from start of job through to final partner reviews

• Review of Financials, Tax Returns, BAS's and IAS’s produced by staff

• Preparation of Financial Statements & Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts

• Provide ad hoc accounting, taxation and bookkeeping support to clients

• Liaising with clients and third parties

Qualifications & experience

• Degree qualified with completed or close to CA/CPA qualification

• Minimum 5 years of Australian taxation & business service experience

• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills

• Ability to train junior staff members

• Logical problem solving & analytical skills
