Factory Worker

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Factory Worker to join the team at Mainstar Australia in Macksville, NSW. This is a full-time position or casual if preferred that offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will contribute to our production operations, working with modern equipment and processes to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your work will be integral to our manufacturing success and our commitment to delivering excellence to our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to produce goods according to specifications and quality standards

2. Performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance

3. Inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality control standards

4. Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

5. Preparing materials and components for production processes

6. Recording production data and maintaining accurate logs of daily operations

7. Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

8. Maintaining a clean and organised work station and production area

9. Assisting with packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch

What we're looking for

1. Prior experience in manufacturing or factory operations, or a willingness to learn on the job

2. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy

3. Ability to operate machinery safely and follow written and verbal instructions

4. Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift items regularly

5. Excellent reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic

6. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

7. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and recording production data

8. A positive attitude towards safety and willingness to adhere to all health and safety regulations

Main Star is a leading manufacturer or electric fencing accessories along side shadecloth materials based in Macksville NSW. We are currently in need of a worker to help produce a range of ropes. No experience is necessary but the ideal person will be fit and have some mechanical inclination.
