Accountant (Tax and Business Services)

We are both a Chartered and CPA Accounting Practice with high level skills to support your career advancement.

We provide a full range of tax and accounting services and we are seeking a tax and business services accountant, someone who is able with our support to manage clients and grow with the role to become an integral part of our team.

Our clients are from a variety of industries including restaurants, property, mining, national wholesale and SMSFs.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare company, trust, SMSF & partnership financial statements.

• Prepare company, trust, SMSF, partnership & individual income tax returns, BAS/IAS/payroll tax etc.

• Consulting advice in respect of income tax, fringe benefit tax, capital gains tax, and GST.

• Develop skills in researching taxation & business services issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified

• CA/CPA qualified/part qualified

• 4+ years working experience in an Australian Accounting practice

• Excellent time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail

• A background in tax compliance/business services

• Experience with Handisoft, SF360 and Cas360, Xero, MYOB & QuickBooks.
