Service Manager

Service Manager | Perth - Southern Suburbs

We're partnering with one of Australia's leading equipment hire businesses to recruit an experienced Service Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role focused on service delivery, team performance, commercial outcomes and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day service operations
• Manage, support and mentor service and operational employees
• Oversee workflow, scheduling and service delivery
• Deliver against budgets, revenue targets, profitability and KPIs
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Oversee procurement and support external sales activities
• Develop external servicing opportunities and customer relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and service delivery
• Maintain a strong focus on WHS and safe working practices

About You

• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar
• Background within equipment hire, access equipment, heavy equipment, materials handling or industrial services is highly desirable
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving, high-performing business environment
• Strong technical understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Proven people leadership and team management experience
• Commercial experience across budgets, KPIs and revenue targets
• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Current Driver's Licence
