Chef/Cook

Eastwood Golf Club is currently seeking a qualified Chef to join our kitchen team in a casual role.

We are looking for a chef who brings strong cooking skills, a calm and professional approach to service, and a genuine commitment to teamwork and food quality.

About the Role

You will be working in a busy club environment supporting our bistro service and events. The role includes evening and weekend shifts, with the added bonus of having your public holidays back!

Key Responsibilities

• Food preparation and service across bistro and event functions

• Assisting with menu development and specials

• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

• Managing stock rotation and kitchen organisation

• Assisting with event service and execution

• Checking off supplier orders

• Supporting a clean, efficient and well-organised kitchen environment

About You

• Qualified Chef with experience in a similar culinary role

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices

• Calm and collected under pressure

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• Punctual, reliable and flexible with availability

• Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude

• Courteous, professional and respectful in a team environment

Requirements

• Relevant chef qualification

• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)

• Availability to work nights and weekends
