Salvage Yard Hand

We are a retailer of second-hand building materials proudly family owned & operated & seeking a casual yard hand/ forklift driver/ operator. This position has potential for increased hours & salary based on performance.

Duties may include but are not limited to;

- Forklift Operation

- General Yard Duties

- Customer interaction including assistance to load, unload & sort goods

- Manual work including some lifting

- Yard cleaning & maintenance

The successful candidate should possess the following;

- Current Forklift license & Drivers license

- Good customer service skills

- Must have a good work ethic, be punctual, reliable and well presented

- Must have a can-do mindset and be open to continued change and learning

- Must be able work independently with minimal supervision & to be able to take initiative of tasks

- Physically capable to perform manual labouring tasks

- Have knowledge and understand of safety in the workplace
