Your opportunity:

• To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within the Community Child Youth and Family Health Department by supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
• To support and enhance the capacity of state schools with secondary students to develop structures and environments that promote the health and wellbeing of young people, and to provide secondary school aged young people with access to a limited primary health care service within the school.
• In addition, the School Based Youth Health Nurse (SBYHN) applies expertise and professional capabilities to effectively support State Schools in addressing the changing and complex needs of young people through a whole of school approach to health promotion that achieves optimal health and wellbeing outcomes for young people.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $83,958 p.a., comprising salary rates between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Part Time, 45.6 hours p.f.).
