The Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and safety-conscious individuals to join our seasonal team as Pool Lifeguards at the Bacchus Marsh and Ballan outdoor pools. As a lifeguard, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our community by supervising pool patrons, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working flexible hours across weekdays and weekends, and contributing to a fun and active summer season. If you’re qualified, reliable, and passionate about aquatic safety, we’d love to hear from you.  

Interviews will be held between 28th September and 4th October where you will bring your best self to a relaxed, group style interview. If successful, you will need to be available to attend; 

• mandatory Onboarding training (Darley office) between 2nd November - 8th November 

• mandatory In-house Pool Training 21, 22, 29th November

About You

You’ll bring current qualifications including the Pool Lifeguard Award with CPR, Level II First Aid, and a Working with Children Check and demonstrate strong communication skills, hazard awareness, and a reliable, flexible work ethic. Whether you're guiding young swimmers or supporting your team, your contribution will help ensure every visit to our pools is safe and memorable.
