Advanced and Sensitive Capabilities Branch (ASCB), the Defence central office for Special Access Programs (SAP) provides a unique opportunity for a rewarding career in a fast paced environment. About our Team
The Advanced and Sensitive Assurance Branch (ASCB) within Capability Coordination Division is responsible for national oversight governance and assurance of Special Access Programs for the Department of Defence.
As a part of the SAP Assurance Directorate you will work in a joint environment that is outcomes focused and provides technically complex and challenging opportunities. The SAP Assurance Directorate is responsible for SAP facility governance, accreditation, and ongoing compliance, as well as the assessment and authorisation of SAP information systems.
The environment is professional and supportive with dedicated teammates who are responsible for and accountable outcomes. You will share your expertise with others, guide and mentor less experienced colleagues and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate would have experience and displayed ability in:
Security Clearance:
Positive Vetting: Prior to commencement, successful applicants will be required to undergo a psychological assessment and an extensive security clearance process. As a Positive Vetting clearance is required, applicants must be Australian Citizens; be able to account for their personal background for their whole life; and be able to demonstrate suitability to work in a high security intelligence environment.
