About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Administrator to join our Financial Planning team.  In this role, you will provide administrative and client service support across financial planning and insurance services, helping to deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.  Working closely with Advisors and other team members, you will play an important role in coordinating client interactions, supporting the implementation of advice, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Financial Planning team.

Using your technical expertise, a typical week would include, but not limited to:

• Provide exceptional client service as a first point of contact, responding to enquiries and coordinating appointments and reviews.

• Maintain accurate client records, prepare documentation, and ensure files are up to date to support advisor meetings and compliance requirements.

• Assist Financial Advisors with the implementation of advice, including preparing applications, processing transactions, and coordinating with product providers.

• Support the preparation and delivery of Records of Advice (ROAs), Statements of Advice (SOAs), client reports, and other financial planning documentation.

• Monitor workflow and application progress using systems such as Xplan and FYI, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

• Liaise with clients, insurers, underwriters, Centrelink, and other stakeholders to facilitate applications, policy administration, and account updates.

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality client outcomes through effective administration, research, problem-solving, and ongoing support across financial planning and insurance services.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary Degree in finance, commerce, business or related degree

• Financial planning degree coupled with qualifications in IT, Computer Science or AI related studies highly regarded

• 1-2 years’ industry experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience using XPLAN is highly regarded
