Front of House Staff (Wait Staff and Bartenders)

Sealevel Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Based in Cronulla NSW, this casual position offers flexibility and the chance to be part of a dynamic hospitality team. As Front of House Staff, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through attentive service and a genuine commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them at appropriate tables in accordance with restaurant procedures

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings

• Taking accurate food and drink orders and relaying them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff

• Serving food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail

• Checking on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

• Processing payments and managing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Clearing and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and organised dining area

• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment

• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and allergen information to assist guests

• Upholding high standards of personal hygiene and food safety practices

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a waiting or customer service role within a hospitality setting

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remember guest preferences and special requests

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple tables simultaneously

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and plates

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

• Basic mathematical skills for processing payments and calculating bills

• Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification is highly desirable

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
