Truck Driver

About the role

Colossus Food is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Melbourne logistics team. You will complete scheduled deliveries to supermarkets, wholesalers, warehouses and food-service customers, transporting palletised and packaged products safely across Melbourne metropolitan areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries to supermarkets, wholesalers, warehouses and food-service customers

• Load, secure, transport and unload palletised and packaged products safely

• Check all goods against delivery dockets before leaving the warehouse

• Obtain signed proof of delivery and return all paperwork promptly

• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff and the logistics team

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any vehicle defects immediately

• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of company vehicles

• Follow assigned delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery times

• Comply with road transport laws, fatigue-management requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations

• Follow company food-safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety procedures

About you

• Current Australian MR or HR driver's licence with a safe driving record

• Previous truck-driving or multi-drop delivery experience

• Good knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan roads and industrial areas

• Ability to safely perform manual handling and physical work

• Reliable, punctual and able to work with limited supervision

• Good communication and customer-service skills

• Basic ability to complete delivery paperwork and use mobile delivery applications

• Full Australian working rights

• Preferred: Experience delivering food, FMCG or supermarket products

• Preferred: Current forklift licence
