Accounts Payable Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced individual to join the team at Midland Brick as an Accounts Payable Officer – Full Time, working 38 hours week. This position is a key member of the finance team, responsible for the effective processing and reconciliation of all Midland Brick invoices, expenses and supplier accounts received.
  
Your role will include:

• Accurate invoice processing, matching, batching and coding;
• Reconciliation of supplier vendor statements;
• Support accountants in end of month processing and schedules;
• Processing EFT and cheque payments; and
• General Administration assistance to the finance team.

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or similar;
• Proficient MS Office skills with Intermediate Excel skills;
• Fast and accurate data entry
• Excellent written and verbal skills;
• Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines;
• Be customer focused, results orientated, have a passion for excellence and a can-do attitude; and
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
