We are currently seeking casual Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our team and work across residential aged care facilities on the Gold Coast, including locations in Labrador, Benowa, Southport, and surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

As a casual PCW with Blu Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of residential aged care environments, providing high-quality care and support to residents while maintaining their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Position Summary

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly residents with their day-to-day needs while promoting dignity, safety, and wellbeing in a professional care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
  
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health to the nursing team.
  
• Participate in the implementation and review of resident care plans.
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
  
• Uphold resident confidentiality, dignity, and privacy at all times.
  
• Work effectively within a team-based facility environment.
  

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
  
• Prior experience in residential aged care settings (Mandatory)
  
• Driver's License.
  
• National Police Check.
  
• Yellow Card
  
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  
• Immunisation record
