Civil Supervisor (FIFO/DIDO & Local work)

Durack Civil are seeking a Civil Supervisor/Foreman to assist on numerous TMR, Government Road Projects and Subdivisions within the Northern QLD region.

Experience:

Preferably min 5 years roads and drainage structures experience working with TMR or local council specifications. 

Role:

• Supervision and coordination of construction crews including subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment  

• Leading the production, support and delivery of projects including site management experience 

• Effective programming of daily works 

• Managing all employees including completing timesheets

• Verification of subcontractor’s work

• Minor purchasing in accordance with procedures

• Conduct training and inductions on site

• Coordinate incident/emergency and near miss forms and registers being completed when necessary

• Use ITP’s progressively throughout the work process and initiate testing, non-conformance reports where appropriate

• Responsible for project compliance with all relevant legislation, specifications, regulations and standard.

• Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions and ensure that all operations meet the environmental, safety and legislative requirements.

• Be positive and proactive in their approach to the coaching, mentoring and training of relevant staff and identify and develop staff within the department for the benefit of the organisation and to meet future growth and needs of the company.

• Responsible for a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the satisfactions of customers and business objectives.
