About the role
Reporting to the General Manager
Salary Package: $100,000–$120,000 + super. This is a relationship-led role with no commission structure.
Full-time, office-based — Balmain, NSW
Building Brands. Engaging People. That's CCD.
What we do
CCD is Sydney's leading exhibition project management team, with over 25 years of experience creating standout stands for trade shows and exhibitions. We're a founder-led, female-owned business, and our people are united by one goal: producing extraordinary work that always delivers for our clients.
Client service sits at the heart of everything we do. Our clients include some of the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies — Novo Nordisk, GSK, Novartis, AstraZeneca and Bayer among them.
About the role
We’re looking for an Account Manager whose focus is retention, not new business, someone who can take ownership of and continue to grow the strong client relationships we’ve already built. You’ll be stepping into relationships that have been built over 25+ years, with clients who have grown alongside CCD and have traditionally been looked after closely by the director. We see ourselves as partners to our clients, not just a supplier, and the trust we’ve built over those years is incredibly valuable. This role is about taking that trust, understanding what matters to our clients, and continuing to build on those relationships for the next chapter of CCD.
About you
You’ll thrive on fast response times, sharp communication and a genuinely client-first mindset. As a founder-led business, priorities can shift and deadlines move, so you’ll need to wear a few hats, stay level-headed under pressure and keep things moving without losing your composure.
You’re resilient, self-directed and naturally curious. You want to understand your clients’ businesses, what’s coming up for them and where you can add value, rather than waiting for a brief to land in your inbox. You’re also commercially aware and self-motivated, with the ability to track your own pipeline, client activity, opportunities, retention and revenue without needing a dashboard or KPI report to tell you how you’re performing.
What you'll bring
• Around two to four years' relevant agency, media or account management experience
• A proven ability to build genuine client relationships. People trust you, respond to you, and want to keep working with you
• Confidence to make recommendations and respectfully challenge a brief
• Sharp organisational skills. You can run multiple projects at once without anything slipping
• Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, professional and warm in equal measure
• Resilience and composure in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
• Respectful, collaborative communication with our internal team
You'll stand out if you have
A background in events, creative, media, production or another relationship-led industry
OR
Experience in corporate account or relationship management roles
The essentials
The role is office-based, Monday to Friday. During our peak delivery period from March to November, you'll need to be available to travel and work the occasional weekend. Outside of that, account management runs via Teams meetings, calls and email.
Why work for us?
Small agile team where you see your work making a difference everyday
Step into a highly successful portfolio with long-standing, legacy clients
Long handover of relationships from the Director and General Manager
No arbitrary activity targets or KPI reporting
Work with global, market leading brands in the health sector
Four-week office closure over Christmas
How to Apply
Only applications that include a cover letter will be considered.
We'd love to hear from you!
Tell us a bit about what draws you to this role, why it excites you, and what makes your approach to account management different than the rest.
Please email your cover letter and CV to Courtney at *******@ccd.auz.net
