Biomedical Service Technician / Engineer

Our client is a well-established technical services provider supporting the Australian healthcare sector, with a strong reputation built over decades. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Biomedical Service Technicians / Engineers to join their NSW service team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for both field-based and workshop servicing of medical devices, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

• On-site and workshop-based compliance testing (electrical safety and performance verification)
• Preventative maintenance and corrective repairs across a wide range of medical-class equipment
• Servicing equipment in accordance with AS/NZS 3551 and internal quality procedures
• Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repair solutions
• Completing service documentation and compliance reports using digital systems
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with healthcare staff and facility management
• Working autonomously in the field while contributing to a collaborative service team

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong technical background along with a customer-focused mindset.
Essential requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or similar
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience servicing medical or related equipment
• Strong fault-finding, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High level of computer literacy and confidence with digital reporting systems
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple service calls
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality service delivery
• Current Australian driver's licence

Experience with assistive technology, aged care equipment, or hospital-grade medical devices will be highly regarded.
