Administration Officer

About the Opportunity

Based in Cairns, the Administration Officer provides administrative, transactional and general office support while acting as the first point of contact for employees, clients and visitors. This role plays an important part in keeping the office organised and running smoothly by maintaining accurate records, coordinating documentation and supporting day-to-day team activities.

What’s Involved

• Provide general administrative support to the team, assisting with day to day tasks and priorities.
• Act as the first point of contact for employees, clients and visitors, managing enquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and registers to ensure information is up to date and easily accessible.
• Prepare, update and file documents, reports and correspondence in line with company requirements.
• Support the coordination of site entry requirements, meetings and other administrative activities to help the team achieve its goals.

You’ll Need 

• Experience in an administration, project support or office support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes is desirable.
• Certificate II in Business Administration or a related qualification.
• Exposure to project administration, project management or planning processes.
