Mechanical Fitter FIFO

Scotford Fennessy are looking to connect with experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters for current and upcoming maintenance opportunities across WA's mining industry. 

We recruit across gold, nickel, iron ore and mineral processing operations, with opportunities ranging from short-term coverage through to ongoing contracts and permanent positions.

The Work
We are particularly interested in fitters with strong hands-on maintenance experience across processing plant equipment such as:

• Crushers - Gyratory, Cone and Jaw 
• Pumps, Pipes and valves 
• Screens and sizers
• SAG and Ball Mills
• Conveyors and feeders 
• Thickeners, tanks and agitators 
• Chutes and transfer points 
• Hydraulics and general fixed plant equipment 

What could be on offer?
Our opportunities vary depending on client requirements, but can include; 

• FIFO from Perth
• 8:6/7:7, 2:1 and 2:2 rosters 
• Casual rates from $70+ per hour 
• Day and nightshift opportunities 
• Superannuation paid on all hours worked
• Weekly Pay 
• Flights, meals and accommodation provided 
• Short and long-term contracts 
• Temp to perm opportunities 
• Permanent positions 

What are we looking for?
To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
• Strong Fixed Plant maintenance experience 
• Previous Australian mining/FIFO experience 
• Current C Class Driver License 
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces 
• High Risk Work tickets - Advantageous 
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A 
• Must be residing in Australia with full working rights
