About the role

Little Rascals Childcare Centre is seeking an experienced Diploma Educator to join our passionate and dedicated team . As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's development.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

• Work flexibly across different age groups as needed to support the centre's operations

• Observe and document children's progress, interests, and developmental needs to individualise your approach

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the broader community

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment that meets all regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve practices and contribute to the Centre's quality improvement

• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Educator in a childcare setting

• Thorough understanding of child development, and the National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications

• Current Working with Children Check

• Someone with the drive to succeed and move forward with their career
