As our Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of quality services to our community. As the first point of contact for customers and patients, you will create a positive and welcoming experience by providing professional, friendly, and compassionate administrative support. About your role:

• Provide general administrative support including ordering of stationery, answering phone enquiries, photocopying, filing, faxing, and minute-taking as required, to enable health professional and medical staff to meet their objectives and deliver services to patients and colleagues.
• Consult with appropriate Health fund and Medicare for clarification of health coverage and arrange the completion and signing of necessary Health Fund and Medicare claim forms.
• Act as primary point of contact for the department including answering routine reception and phone calls whilst providing accurate information to clients, visitors and staff accessing the department.
• Maintain electronic patient records in Communicare (RIVeR) and Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), including the creation of new and the update of existing registrations daily.
