Assistant Venue Manager | Morayfield Tavern

Morayfield Tavern is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Assistant Venue Manager to join the team as we head into another busy year.

Since opening in 1988, Morayfield Tavern has become a true local. We’re proud to be a place where the community gathers, whether it’s for a family meal, a night out with friends, or to catch the game. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere are at the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for someone with proven hospitality management experience in a similar venue, along with strong customer service skills and a professional presence. If you’re ready to step up, lead from the front, and build toward a Venue Manager role, this is the opportunity to make it happen.

Essential requirements:

• Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role 
• Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
• Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
• Extensive restaurant & bar experience
• Strong experience working in a gaming venue 
• Knowledge of TAB and wagering 
• Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience 
• Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated 
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license 
• CLO - Desirable not necessary
