Machinery Assembler / Workshop Technician

About the role

As a Machinery Assembler / Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, preparation, and servicing of a diverse range of agricultural, outdoor power, and utility equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assembly and preparation of new machinery prior to customer delivery

• Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and ensuring machines meet dealership standards

• Installing accessories, attachments, and customer-specific options

• Building and preparing Kubota tractors, Husqvarna equipment, Segway UTV & ATV, Landboss machinery, and other leading brands

• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Completing servicing, repairs, and adjustments where required

• Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation

• Working closely with the Sales and Service teams to ensure customer deliveries run smoothly

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment

About you

• Experience in machinery assembly, mechanical work, or a similar workshop environment

• A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machinery systems

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• The ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn

• A current driver's licence

• A trade qualification in agricultural mechanics, automotive, diesel mechanics, fabrication, or a related field would be highly regarded

• Experience working with agricultural machinery, tractors, UTVs, ATVs, outdoor power equipment, or similar products would be advantageous
