Support Worker

About the role

Compassionate Care Partners' is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bundaberg, QLD. This is a casual position, providing personalised care and support to Individuals living with disabilities in the local community. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the people we support and empower them to live independently.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, Enteral Feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

• Providing companionship and social engagement to help reduce social isolation and promote mental wellbeing

• Supporting Individuals with accessing the community and participation in recreational activities of choice

• Documenting Individual progress and communicating any changes or concerns to the care team

• Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in aged care, disability support, nursing, or a similar care-oriented role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with individuals

• A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

• Patience, empathy, and a caring nature

• A strong commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care

• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, are preferred
