Mathematics Teacher Y7-12

The Role

With a strategic and moral commitment to empowering girls and ensuring every student is known, seen and heard, we seek to appoint an outstanding and relational Mathematics Teacher to join our Senior School team.

This full-time, ongoing position commences Term 1 2027 and includes teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12. You will work collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing faculty, contributing to a culture of academic excellence and student engagement.

The successful candidate will be a contemporary educator who designs and delivers engaging, well-sequenced lessons that foster confidence, curiosity, and deep mathematical understanding. They will create an inclusive learning environment that supports the growth of the whole person and inspires students to achieve their personal best.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Years 7-12

• Plan, prepare, and assess rigorous and engaging learning programs

• Use data to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes

• Contribute to curriculum development and moderation processes

• Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

• Participate in co-curricular and pastoral programs

 About You

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current VIT registration

• Demonstrated experience teaching VCE Mathematics

• Strong knowledge of the VCE curriculum and assessment practices

• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to ongoing professional learning
