About the role:
UGL is seeking an experienced Field Engineers to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone. This is a 35–40-day project, based on site. You will be responsible for providing critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical subject matter expertise and practical engineering support to frontline operational teams.Act as a trusted advisor, offering guidance on engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, risks, and constraints that may impact project delivery.Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities in the field, developing effective and practical solutions.Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with requirements.Monitor work progress and provide technical recommendations to maintain productivity and quality outcomes.Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of field activities to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency.Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring engineering activities comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and company standards.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, performance, and reliability.Build capability within frontline teams through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical coaching.Participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurring issues.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering records as required.35-40 day duration2-hour days (per full shift worked)
About you:
Proven experience as a Field Engineer within LNG / Oil & Gas Turnaround environmentsWorking knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning systems (highly desirable)Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous)Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representativesStrong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline
