About the Position

Plaza Family Health in Mt Sheridan Plaza provide an extensive range of healthcare services. The doctors provide a variety of services, from general family medicine, vaccinations, minor surgery, men’s health, women’s health, child health and sports medicine.

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team on a Part Time basis (3 days per week). GP experience is preferred but not essential.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail. 

The Practice Nurse will:

• Be willing to learn and work as a team to provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required

• Participate in Quality Improvement Activities

• Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines

• Assist with a range of duties such as; Triaging patients, Immunisations, Wound care and Health assessments

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential

• Flexibility and willingness to work a range of shifts

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer literacy
