What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker with MSMW, you will provide person-centered care tailored to individual client needs. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Delivering high-quality support to clients with complex needs.

• Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, daily living activities, and community access.

• Empowering clients to grow their independence and confidence.

• Managing behaviours of concern with professionalism, patience, and heart.

• Maintaining accurate progress notes and communicating effectively with families and care teams.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in disability support.

• Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Skills: A strong understanding of behaviour support plans, a calm demeanour, and exceptional communication skills.

Certifications & Compliance:

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates

• NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Check

• Working with Children Check (WWCC)

• Medication Assistance Certificate

• Current Australian Driver’s License and a reliable, insured vehicle
