About the Role: 

As NPE continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, hands-on Dewatering Technician to join our Projects team in Perth. This role involves the assembly, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of field-based systems across the water, wastewater, mining, and civil sectors.

Primarily field-based, you’ll work across rural WA, with workshop time between projects to prepare equipment and materials. You’ll also support mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment in line with operational requirements.

Essential 

• Current Driver’s Licence 
• General Construction Induction (White Card) ticket, High risk Forklift Licence (LF) (or willing to obtain) 
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision 
• Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances with great problem-solving skills 
• Excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities 
• Ability to work well with other team members and champion the NPE brand  

Desirable 

• Previous experience in a Mine/Civil industry with ground dewatering, pipelaying or sewer pump station operations 
• Experience in Rental, Construction or Heavy industries 
• HR Licence 
• Poly Welding Ticket 
• Confined Space Entry Ticket 
• Working from Heights Ticket 
• Dogging/Rigging Licence  
• Relevant Trade Certificate would advantageous (i.e. Plumbing) 
• Previous experience in a Mining environment with dewatering operations
