Production Team Member

Ionode is a privately owned and operated business with 20+ dedicated employees.  We have been operating for over 50 years and are the largest Electrochemical Sensor manufacturer in Australia and our sensors are shipped all over the world. Our sensors are found in many industries involved in water quality such as pools, drinking water, waste and cooling water. 

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our diverse and inclusive Production Team ASAP, working in a friendly, clean, air-conditioned environment at our premesis in Sumner.  The role of a Production Team Member is to produce high-quality sensors in the most efficient way possible and to the highest standard. Training will be provided throughout our production processes to provide you with the necessary skills to produce the quality product we are known for worldwide. 

Tasks include: 

• Mechanical and hand assembly of sensors 

• Soldering tasks including; hand soldering, de-soldering, reworking. 

• Cable assembly including preparation and terminating with connectors. 

• Effective, correct and safe operation of hand-operated production equipment, with varying degrees of automation. 

• Following procedures to meet quality standards 

Requirements: 

• Ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures. 

• Good communication skills - both written and verbal. 

• Strong work ethic with good adaptability and learning agility. 

• Be able to work consistently in a repetitive environment with attention to detail, dexterity and hand-eye coordination. 

• Soldering experience essential – additional training available. 

• Background interest in science/electronics would be desirable, but not essential - training available. 

• Welding experience, preferably micro welding (Laser or Pulse ARC) beneficial, but not essential – full training available.
