About the role

As a Sales Representative at The fitness shop, you'll be playing a key role in providing excellent customer service and driving sales of our premium fitness equipment and accessories. This part-time position is based in our Blackburn, VIC store, where you'll have the opportunity to assist customers, process transactions, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to assist customers in finding the right products for their fitness needs

2. Demonstrate products and explain their features and benefits to customers

3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

4. Maintain store displays and ensure products are well-stocked and merchandised

5. Contribute to achieving the store's sales targets through proactive selling and upselling

6. Adhere to company policies and procedures to provide a consistent customer experience

What we're looking for

1. Previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in the fitness or retail industry

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers

3. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment

4. Enthusiasm for health, fitness and providing excellent customer service

5. Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
