The Role

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a high-performing team responsible for quality assurance across Atlassian platforms, including Jira Service Management Data Center (JSM DC) and Confluence. This role will lead end-to-end testing activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and operational readiness objectives. You will be responsible for developing test strategies, coordinating test execution, managing defects, reporting quality metrics, and supporting business verification testing. Working closely with project teams, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering reliable and high-quality outcomes across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned to project objectives.Lead manual and automated test execution across Jira Service Management Data Center and Confluence platforms.Coordinate end-to-end testing activities including functional, integration, regression, and business verification testing.Manage defect lifecycles, prioritise issues based on risk, and coordinate resolution activities.Provide regular reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.Support stakeholders through User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification Testing activities.Identify opportunities for automation and drive continuous improvement across testing practices.Maintain testing artefacts, documentation, and traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.Contribute to release planning, quality governance, and deployment readiness activities.

What You'll Need

Demonstrated experience leading testing activities across complex enterprise environments.Strong experience creating test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance frameworks.Hands-on experience executing manual and automated testing.Experience testing Jira Service Management, Confluence, or similar enterprise platforms.Strong defect management and troubleshooting capabilities.Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.Proven ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience using Jira, Confluence, Xray, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.Strong analytical and process improvement mindset.
