Financial Accountant

The Company:
This established organisation operates within the Australian agricultural industry and offers the opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Role:
Reporting into senior finance leaders, including the CFO and Treasury Manager, this 6-month contract will provide excellent exposure to key stakeholders across the business. Sitting within a commercially focused finance function, the role will have a strong financial planning and analysis focus alongside core financial accounting responsibilities.

With strong backing and an experienced senior leadership team, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across financial analysis, forecasting and broader commercial finance.
  
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and maintaining three-way cash flow forecasts
• Supporting financial planning, forecasting and analysis
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Assisting with financial reporting and month-end requirements
• Working closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business
• Supporting broader finance initiatives and ad hoc analysis as required

Your Profile:
You will be an experienced Financial Accountant who enjoys working beyond traditional financial reporting and is looking to gain further exposure to FP&A and commercial finance.
Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience at cashflow forecasting
• Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, ideally including three-way forecasting
• Strong Excel and analytical capabilities
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• Availability to commence immediately or within one week
