Senior Medical Officer - Millmerran

Lead high-quality rural medical care in Millmerran and make a genuine difference across emergency, inpatient and community health settings. This is an opportunity to practise broad-scope medicine, build strong community connections, mentor future clinicians, and work with a supportive multidisciplinary team while enjoying the lifestyle and rewards of regional Queensland.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $485,769 (L24) comprising salary rates between $367,560 (L13) and $485,769 p.a. (L24), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

What your day could look like

As Senior Medical Officer, you'll provide high-quality care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and aged care services. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll help deliver safe, accessible healthcare and improved outcomes for the local community.

• Providing expert clinical care across a broad range of presentations.
• Leading and supporting teams to deliver safe, patient-centred care.
• Driving quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
• Mentoring and developing colleagues through education and collaboration.

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner and eligibility to practise in Australia.
• Experience delivering high-quality care across a broad clinical scope.

You'll stand out if you have fellowship or advanced training relevant to rural generalist practice, including emergency medicine, paediatrics, mental health or aged care.
