🎬 WE’RE HIRING: FREELANCE VIDEOGRAPHER / EDITOR📍 Sydney, Australia – Preferably 💼 Freelance / Contractor
Get Known is a growing personal branding agency helping entrepreneurs, executives, founders, and professionals build authority and visibility through strategic content.We’re looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content that captures attention and strengthens our clients’ personal brands.
🎥 WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Freelance Videographer / Editor, you’ll be responsible for helping the team with filming and editing a variety of personal-brand content, including:
-Short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok & YouTube Shorts-Long-form video content, podcasts, interviews and talking-head videos-Video clips and social media content from client filming sessions-Captions, subtitles, transitions, B-roll, graphics and animations-Strong hooks and pacing designed to maximize viewer retention-Repurposing long-form content into multiple short-form pieces-Maintaining consistent visual branding across different clients-Making revisions based on client and internal feedback-Organising and managing video assets efficiently.
⭐ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Has proven experience as a Video Editor✅ Has a strong portfolio of short-form and social media video content✅ Understands what makes content engaging and scroll-stopping✅ Has a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and retention✅ Is experienced with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar tools✅ Has a good eye for typography, composition, transitions and visual storytelling✅ Can create professional captions/subtitles and dynamic edits✅ Is highly detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines✅ Can work independently and manage multiple projects✅ Is comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions✅ Understands personal branding and social media content
🇦🇺 SYDNEY-BASED PREFERRED:We would prefer someone based in Sydney, Australia, particularly someone who can potentially collaborate with our team and attend occasional filming/content sessions when required.However, exceptional remote candidates from Australia or elsewhere are welcome to apply.
